To alleviate some of the burden this crisis may have on our neighbors, we’ve stopped all utility disconnects and collections, will honor all of our non-profit and sponsorship commitments and have committed through Avista Foundation to the COVID-19 Eastern Washington Community Response Fund hosted by Innovia Foundation.
Modern Electric Water Company:
A $50 credit applied to each of residential customer’s primary electric account in the month of April.
Supporting customers in need of assistance with their water and electric bills thru donations to the Valley Partners Energy Assistance Program and the SNAP Project Share program.
Vera Water and Power:
No customer affected by this pandemic will be disconnected.
Suspended late fees.
Implemented late-fee forgiveness and are willing to work with anyone to avoid disconnection.
Customers who are already delinquent will not incur further costs or be disconnected.
