Shelter Reservation Information
Shelters may be used free of charge on a first come, first served basis.  However, if you would like to secure usage of a shelter, r
equests for reservations for 2010 will be taken starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010.  In order to request a reservation of a facility, a completed Facility Usage Application form must be submitted along with full payment of all fees and deposits.  Complete reservation requests are processed in the order in which they are received.  Reservations require approval from the Parks and Recreation Director or designee.  Upon approval of your application, a Facility Permit will be issued.  Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the activity. 
Shelter reservations may be made by walk-in, mail, or fax (509) 688-0188 to 2426 N. Discovery Pl., Spokane Valley, WA 99216.  Call 688-0300 for more information and to verify open dates. 

2010 SHELTER RESERVATION FEES

Less than 200 people:
Picnic shelter                                          $84.00
Refundable damage deposit              $52.00

200 people or more:                      
Picnic shelter                                          $157.00
Refundable damage deposit              $257.00

Event Fees (Include Shelter) 
Events include but are not limited to activities such as car shows, art shows, tournaments and other activities which are usually open to the public.  Most events will require proof of liability insurance.  If you are planning to amplify sound over a distance of 30 feet, an Amplified Sound Permit will also be required (no charge).  The Director of Parks and Recreation will make the final determination.  Return all applications and fees to 2426 N. Discovery Pl., Spokane Valley, WA 99216.

Ball Field Reservation Information
Ball Fields can be used free of charge on a first come, first serve basis.  However, if you would like to secure usage and field prep for your group, you must file a Facility Usage Application with the City and submit all applicable fees.  Call 688-0300 for more information and to verify open dates.

*Renter responsible for on-site preparation. Rental requires liability insurance which names the City of Spokane Valley as additional insured.
