Visit City Hall at the Mall Feb 29

SPOKANE VALLEY, WA ---While you’re running errands at Spokane Valley Mall on Wednesday, February 29, you can also find out about reserving a City park, report a pothole, or get help with other City services and information during Spokane Valley’s City Hall at the Mall day.

According to Mayor Tom Towey, the event is designed to build connections between community members and the City.  “A lot of our citizens have never had the occasion to visit us at City Hall,” explained Towey.  “So we’re going to Spokane Valley Mall and visit with them there.”

Representatives from the City of Spokane Valley will be on hand at Spokane Valley Mall all day from 10:00am to 9:00pm at the second floor Food Court providing many of the same services available at City Hall.  Specialists will be available at various times throughout the day to answer questions about traffic concerns, share information on upcoming street projects, demonstrate use of the website to find information and file service requests, and provide general information and assistance on a wide variety of other services.

You can even drop by to visit with Mayor Tom Towey and other members of the City Council.

Even the youngsters will find something of interest, whether it’s finding out about upcoming summer fun in the parks, picking up a temporary tattoo from Storm Drain Dan or visiting with McGruff the Crime Dog.

A complete schedule of services and times for visiting with the Mayor and Councilmembers follows.

Made possible by special arrangement with Spokane Valley Mall and General Growth Properties, City Hall at the Mall Day is one of many ways the City of Spokane Valley is expanding access to and sharing information about City services, and building stronger relationships between community members and their local government.
