Anderson, Carlsen, McCaslin Join Planning Commission
SPOKANE VALLEY, WASH--- The Spokane Valley City Council confirmed Mayor Tom Towey’s appointments of Kevin E. Anderson, Christina Carlsen, and Robert B. McCaslin to serve on Spokane Valley’s Planning Commission. They will join Planning Commissioners Bill Bates, Rod Higgins, Steve Neill, and Joe Stoy.
Anderson is a manufacturing manager who has made Spokane Valley his home for 35 years. He includes designing and building a residential construction as skills he will bring to his role on the Commission.
Carlson is the owner of a small business and has lived in Spokane Valley for eight years. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology and Environmental Science. She anticipates applying her background in the environmental field to her responsibilities as Commissioner.
McCaslin is a classroom teacher who has lived in Spokane Valley for eleven years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts degree. His volunteer involvement includes both professional and service organizations.
Each of the appointees will serve a three year term from 2013 through 2015, effective January 1, 2013.
