City officials acknowledge that snow removal efforts have contributed to large accumulations of snow on sidewalks, but the record breaking snowfall is creating situations that are challenging residents, businesses and government. Community members are asked to remove snow from sidewalks in front of their businesses and residences if they can, especially near bus stops and along routes where children will be walking when school re-opens.
